Making Cards for our Troops

Our greatest challenge is the cost to ship our boxes of cards. Each box costs $24.80 to ship and holds approximately 400 cards. We rely on the generosity of our card makers, individual donors, local companies and American Legion or other Veteran-related groups. If you are willing to help, please reach out to us at

Card Guidelines

If you would like to support our mission by donating handmade cards, our guidelines are as follows:

• Cards must be Cardstock A2 size (5.50” X 4.25”) with an appropriate envelope
• Cards can be made with foil or twine for decoration
• Cards can have a sentiment on the front and a short greeting inside
• Cards can be made with dimensionals
• Cards cannot contain any kind of glitter – loose, paper, tape or glue glitter
• Cards cannot contain rhinestones, pearls, metal charms or large bows
• Cards should not be signed
• If your card is made with dark cardstock, please adhere a white piece inside
• Please do not put the card in the envelope
• No dark envelopes please
