Card Guidelines
If you would like to support our mission by donating handmade cards, please review our guidelines below:
- MOST IMPORTANTLY, cards cannot contain any kind of glitter due to Military restrictions. That includes loose, paper, tape or glue glitter.
- Cards must be A2 size Cardstock (5.50” X 4.25”) with an appropriate envelope.
- We cannot use recycled cards; pre-used cards which are cut to make new cards.
- You can use foil or twine for decoration on the cards.
- Cards can have a sentiment on the front and a short greeting inside.
- Cards can be made with some dimensionals.
- When sending Holiday cards, they must be sent to us 3 months prior to the holiday in order to reach the Troops on time.
- Cards cannot contain rhinestones, pearls, metal charms or large bows since these do not hold up well during mailing.
- Cards should not be signed.
- If your card is made with dark Cardstock, please adhere a white piece inside so they can write a message on it.
- Please do not put the card in the envelope.
- No dark envelopes please.
